This reader is built for durability and precision. It uses a 32-bit high-speed processor and an optical CMOS fingerprint module. One of its standout features is the IP65 weatherproofing, allowing it to be installed outdoors in harsh Egyptian environments, from dusty construction sites to exposed villa gates.

• Encrypted Biometric Data: Instead of storing raw fingerprint images, it stores “messy code” (encrypted templates), making it impossible for hackers to reconstruct a fingerprint if the device is tampered with.

• Dual Authentication: Supports Optical Fingerprint recognition and Mifare (13.56 MHz) cards. It can be configured for “Card only,” “Fingerprint only,” or “Card + Fingerprint” for maximum security.

• RS-485 Interface: Uses a secure RS-485 protocol to communicate with the master controller. This allows for long wiring distances (up to 1,200 meters) and ensures that even if someone rips the reader off the wall, they cannot open the door by shorting the wires.

• High Capacity for a Slave: While the controller manages the users, the reader’s local module can store and process up to 5,000 fingerprints.

• Extreme Temperature Resistance: Operates flawlessly between -40°C and 70°C, which is far above the standard range for most indoor readers.

• Built-in Tamper Protection: If the reader is forcibly removed from its mounting plate, it sends an immediate alarm signal to the master controller.
