Hikvision 6 MP AcuSense Fixed Mini Dome Network Camera DS-2CD3566G2-IS

The DS-2CD3566G2-IS is a Hikvision 6 MP fixed-lens mini dome network camera, built around AcuSense deep-learning detection that classifies people and vehicles, so alarms come from real targets rather than leaves, rain or animals.

• High quality imaging with 6 MP resolution
• Excellent low-light performance with powered-by-DarkFighter technology
• Clear imaging against strong backlight due to 120 dB WDR technology
• Efficient H.265+ compression technology
• Focus on human and vehicle targets classification based on deep learning
• Audio and alarm interface available

Where it fits

Positions with a settled scene: entrances, rooms, shop floors and lobbies, where a wide angle covers the space from a corner. A fixed lens has nothing to drift out of focus and costs less than a varifocal.

Where it is the wrong choice: long-distance identification at a gate or fence line — a varifocal model fits better.

Before you order — three things to confirm

• The angle you need. Per the datasheet: 2.8 mm, horizontal FOV 105°, vertical FOV 55°, diagonal FOV 127° 4 mm, horizontal FOV 78°, vertical FOV 38°, diagonal FOV 96°. Send us the mounting height, the distance to the far edge of the scene and the width to cover, and we check the lens before ordering.
• Recorder and resolution. Confirm the NVR accepts 6 MP network cameras with H.265+, and that its bandwidth and disk space still meet your retention period with this channel added.
• Power and mounting. Power per the datasheet: 12 VDC ± 25%, 0.66 A, max. 8 W,Ø5.5 mm coaxial power plug, reverse polarity protection, PoE: IEEE 802.3af, Class 3, max. . Protection: IP67: IEC 60529-2013,IK08: IEC 62262:2002. Plan a PoE switch or NVR port and the bracket for the mounting surface.

Common questions

Will it work with my existing recorder?
It works with Hikvision NVRs that support 6 MP network cameras. For an older Hikvision recorder or a third-party system, send us the model and firmware and we confirm compatibility before ordering.

How far does it see at night?
The datasheet gives a supplement light range of up to 30 m. Real distance depends on the scene and on reflective surfaces.

Do I need an AcuSense recorder?
Detection runs inside the camera. To search and filter recordings by person or vehicle on the NVR, an AcuSense-capable Hikvision recorder gives the full benefit.
