Hikvision 12-Button Nametag Module for Modular Door Station DS-KD-K12

The DS-KD-K12 is a 12-button nametag module for modular door station from Hikvision’s KD8 Pro series. It slots into the modular door station next to the main camera module, which powers and controls it — it does not work on its own.

• Nametag module of modular door station
• 12 nametag buttons calling design for easier calls
• IP65 protection level
• Backlight compensation behind the nametag buttons
• Easy to use and extend

Where it fits

Apartment buildings and offices using Hikvision’s modular KD8 door station, where the entrance panel is built from modules to match the number of flats and the way residents enter.

Where it is the wrong choice: non-modular door stations — this module fits the KD8 modular system only.

Before you order — three things to confirm

• The exact model it fits. Mounting parts and modules are model-specific — confirm the door station or indoor station model on site.
• Module count. For modular door stations, count the modules (camera, keypad, card reader, nametag, blank) so the frame and box match.
• Surface or flush. Confirm whether the wall allows a recessed box or needs surface mounting.

Common questions

Does it work on its own?
No — it is an accessory for a Hikvision intercom unit.

Is it included with the door station?
Usually not — mounting boxes, frames, rain shields and extra modules are ordered separately. We list everything when we quote.
