Hikvision 8-Channel PoE 1U K Series AcuSense 4K NVR DS-7608NXI-K1/8P(B)

The DS-7608NXI-K1/8P(B) is a Hikvision 8-channel 1U network video recorder from the K Series with AcuSense: it records up to 4K network cameras, filters events by person and vehicle, and powers the cameras directly from its 8 built-in PoE ports.

• Up to 8-ch IP camera inputs, plug & play with 8 power-over-Ethernet (PoE) interfaces
• H.265+/H.265/H.264+/H.264 video formats
• Up to 1-ch@12 MP or 2-ch@8 MP or 4-ch@4 MP or 8-ch@1080p decoding capacity
• Up to 80 Mbps incoming bandwidth
• Adopt Hikvision Acusense technology to minimize manual effort and security costs

Where it fits

Small and mid-size systems — a villa, a shop, an office — where up to 8 cameras plug straight into the recorder with one cable each. AcuSense search lets staff find a person or vehicle event in minutes rather than scrolling through hours of video.

Where it is the wrong choice: systems that will outgrow 8 channels soon, or that need RAID and many disks — a larger recorder fits better.

Before you order — three things to confirm

• Disk capacity. Per the datasheet: 1 SATA interface. Tell us the number of cameras, their resolution and the retention period, and we size the drive.
• Bandwidth. Incoming bandwidth up to 80 Mbps. Add up the cameras’ main-stream bitrates and keep them within it.
• Camera count and growth. Confirm the channel count covers today’s cameras with room for the ones you expect to add.

Common questions

Is a hard drive included?
Drives are a separate line — we size and quote them with the recorder.

Can I watch it on my phone?
Yes — Hikvision recorders are viewed remotely through the Hik-Connect app once the network is set up at commissioning.
