• RS-485 and Wiegand (W26/ W34) protocol
• Tamper-proof alarm
• Supports reading EM card (Frequency: 125 KHz) (DS-K1102AE/DS-K1102AEK/DS-1102AEM)
• Supports reading M1 card (Frequency: 13.56 MHz). (DS-K1102AM/DS-K1102AMK/DS-K1102AEMK)

Where it fits

Doors run by a Hikvision access controller: entry readers, exit readers on two-way doors, and rooms that need a second factor such as a PIN or fingerprint.

Where it is the wrong choice: a stand-alone door with no controller — a terminal with built-in control fits better.

Before you order — three things to confirm

• Card type. Confirm which cards your site uses (EM 125 kHz, Mifare 13.56 MHz, DESFire) and match the reader.
• Controller interface. Confirm the controller accepts Wiegand or RS-485 as listed in the specs.
• Mounting. Check indoor or outdoor mounting and the protection rating in the specs.

Common questions

Does it work on its own?
No — a reader sends the credential to an access controller, which decides and opens the door.

Which cards does it read?
See the card-type lines in the specifications; we match cards to the reader when we quote.
