The DS-2SE7C432MW-AEB(14F1)(P3) is a Hikvision network speed dome: TandemVu 4+4 MP 32× ColorVu & IR AcuSense Network Speed Dome. It pans, tilts and zooms on command or on a patrol, so one camera can follow activity across a large site.

Where it fits

Large open areas: car parks, yards, compounds, factory grounds, building façades and public squares — anywhere an operator needs to zoom in on a detail that fixed cameras only see from a distance.

Where it is the wrong choice: continuous recording of one fixed area — while the dome is zoomed elsewhere, it is not watching that spot. Pair it with fixed cameras for full coverage.

Before you order — three things to confirm

• Mounting. Speed domes are heavy and need a wall, pole or corner bracket rated for the unit; confirm the mounting point.
• Power. Per the datasheet: 24 VAC, Hi-PoE. Check that the PoE switch or power supply can deliver it, including the IR or white light at night.
• Who operates it. A speed dome earns its cost when someone controls it or when patrols and presets are set up at commissioning — plan which.
