Hikvision 2 MP 25× DarkFighter IR Network Speed Dome DS-2DE4225IW-DE(T5)

The DS-2DE4225IW-DE(T5) is a Hikvision network speed dome: 2 MP 25× DarkFighter IR Network Speed Dome. It pans, tilts and zooms on command or on a patrol, so one camera can follow activity across a large site.

• High quality imaging with 2 MP resolution
• Excellent low-light performance with powered-by-DarkFighter technology
• Clear imaging against strong back light by 120 dB WDR technology
• Pan and tilt ability enables the camera to capture interested areas
• Securing an expansive area with 25x optical zoom
• Up to 100 m IR range ensures safety at night

Where it fits

Large open areas: car parks, yards, compounds, factory grounds, building façades and public squares — anywhere an operator needs to zoom in on a detail that fixed cameras only see from a distance.

Where it is the wrong choice: continuous recording of one fixed area — while the dome is zoomed elsewhere, it is not watching that spot. Pair it with fixed cameras for full coverage.

Before you order — three things to confirm

• Mounting. Speed domes are heavy and need a wall, pole or corner bracket rated for the unit; confirm the mounting point.
• Power. Per the datasheet: 12 VDC and PoE+ (802.3 at, class4) Max.: 18 W, including max.7W for IR. Check that the PoE switch or power supply can deliver it, including the IR or white light at night.
• Who operates it. A speed dome earns its cost when someone controls it or when patrols and presets are set up at commissioning — plan which.

Common questions

Can it follow a moving target on its own?
Check the smart-feature lines in the datasheet for auto-tracking on this model; patrols and presets are standard and are set up at commissioning.

Will it work with my recorder?
It works with Hikvision NVRs that accept its resolution; PTZ control from the recorder depends on the NVR model — send it to us to confirm.
