Hikvision 6 MP Smart Hybrid Light Outdoor PT Network Camera DS-2DE2C600MWG-E (2.8 mm)

The DS-2DE2C600MWG-E is a Hikvision 6 MP pan-tilt outdoor network camera with a 2.8 mm lens, built around Smart Hybrid Light, which works on IR by default and switches to white light when it detects a person or vehicle, so the event is recorded in colour.

• High quality imaging with 6 MP resolution
• Support Human Detection and Auto-tracking Lite
• Smart Hybrid Light: advanced technology with long range
• Hik-Connect cloud service and app for remote management and views of devices
• Built-in microphone and speaker for real-time audio security
• Built-in memory card slot, support microSD/SDHC/SDXC card, up to 512 GB

Where it fits

Open outdoor areas where one camera should cover more than one direction: a yard, a car park, a building perimeter, a farm. Pan and tilt let the view be moved from the app or the recorder instead of fitting several fixed cameras.

Where it is the wrong choice: scenes that must be watched in every direction at the same moment — a PT camera looks one way at a time.

Before you order — three things to confirm

• The angle you need. Per the datasheet: 2.8 mm, horizontal FOV 105°, vertical FOV 55°, diagonal FOV 127° 4 mm, horizontal FOV 78°, vertical FOV 38°, diagonal FOV 97°. Send us the mounting height, the distance to the far edge of the scene and the width to cover, and we check the lens before ordering.
• Recorder and resolution. Confirm the NVR accepts 6 MP network cameras with H.265+, and that its bandwidth and disk space still meet your retention period with this channel added.
• Power and mounting. Power per the datasheet: 12 VDC ± 25%, 0.75 A, max. 9 W, Ø5.5 mm coaxial power plug, reverse polarity protection, PoE: IEEE 802.3af, Class 3, max. Protection: IP66 (IEC 60529-2013). Plan a PoE switch or NVR port and the bracket for the mounting surface.

Common questions

Will it work with my existing recorder?
It works with Hikvision NVRs that support 6 MP network cameras. For an older Hikvision recorder or a third-party system, send us the model and firmware and we confirm compatibility before ordering.

How far does it see at night?
The datasheet gives a supplement light range of up to 30 m. Real distance depends on the scene and on reflective surfaces.
