Hikvision Smart Sliding Gate Opener DS-K3GL606WX-WB (433 MHz)

The DS-K3GL606WX-WB is Hikvision’s networked sliding gate opener in its 433 MHz version. It pushes gates up to 600 kg and up to 20 m long, and it carries its own network connection — Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and 4G as an option — so the gate can be opened, watched and configured from the Hik-Connect app or a browser, with a record of up to 500,000 events.

It is the same motor as the DS-K3GL606WX-WE; the only difference in the specification is the keyfob receiver. -WB receives 433 MHz, -WE receives 868 MHz. If the site already has gate remotes on 433 MHz, this is the version that will pair with them. If you are starting from nothing, either works — we will supply remotes on the matching frequency.

Where it fits

Villa gates, compound and residential-building gates, factory and warehouse yards — any sliding gate up to 600 kg that is opened many times a day and where the owner wants to control it from a phone as well as a remote. The brush motor has soft start and soft stop and is rated at a mean of at least 0.8 million cycles between failures; the housing is IPX5 for outdoor installation beside the gate.

Pedestrian mode opens the gate only partway for someone on foot. The reopen function and two IR (photocell) inputs let the gate reverse rather than close on a car or a person, and a flashing light output is supported to warn traffic while the gate moves.

Before you order — four things to confirm

• The gate’s weight and length. Up to 600 kg and up to 20 m. A gate near the limit, on a worn track or on a slope needs a site look first — send us photos of the gate and the track.
• The remote frequency. 433 MHz on this version. Up to 3,000 keyfobs can be registered; range is up to 200 m in an open area.
• Backup batteries. Two 12 V 7 Ah batteries keep the gate working in a power cut. They are not included in the box and are bought separately.
• Power and safety accessories. Mains supply of 100–240 VAC at the motor; 280 W working and 400 W peak. Plan photocells, flashing light and rack length with us on the quotation. Professional installation in Cairo & Giza, priced after a site assessment.

Common questions

What is the difference between -WB and -WE?
Only the keyfob frequency: -WB receives 433 MHz, -WE receives 868 MHz. Match it to the remotes you already have.

Will the gate work during a power cut?
With two 12 V 7 Ah backup batteries fitted, yes. The batteries are not in the box — add them to the quotation.
